Round white thingy salad
Send out someone to buy radish, and he brings back these medium size white round ones, that, after some research, turn out to be Kugelrettiche from Sachsen-Anhalt. Now how does that translate? Wild variations between may turnip and ball radish all sound like Google translator nonsense. Let's just call them round radish/working title and hopefully you will know what they are. Any radish is good, really. I am pretty sure turnip is something else.
Anyhow, use THEM, sliced
spring onions
coriander leaves
and marinated button mushrooms
some of the oil they were sitting in
ginger marmalade
some white balsamico
salt, pepper
a little olive oil
Add a red chili to taste.
And, may I add, the Edeka recipe does not look bad, either.
Enjoy.

Corn Lettuce with Brazil Nuts, Brie, Radish and Cranberry Dressing
Yesterday's lunch table brainstorming turned into something seriously yummy:
Corn Lettuce
Small white radish, if available flaked with veggie peeler
I was also thinking pear flakes, but we may be happy with just cranberries for now.
Some brie cheese, preferably not so soft
Brazil nuts, very roughly chopped
Some dry cranberries
Cranberry jam (Preiselbeeren im Glas)
Shallot
White balsamico
Olive oil
Salt, pepper, a little veggie broth

Pesto dressed leafy greens
Do you know those half empty jars of pesto sitting in your fridge, that you once opened excitedly when home alone. They stay there forever. Unless, like today, you use them up. With, e. g.:
Some simple green lettuce
Parsley and
Spring onion
Add a bit of water/veggie broth to your (in this case plain green) jarred pesto
some lemon or orange juice
a little honey
a little soy
a little olive oil, maybe
even a little white balsamico
Salt & pepper to taste.
Shake well and add to lettuces just before serving to prevent soggyness.
