You will need some cold boiled spaghetti for this.
Some zucchini, cut into spaghetti shaped stripes
Cherry tomatoes
Lots of basil
Almonds, crushed
Raw sea salt
Parmesan, grated
Coarse black pepper
Olive oil
Lightly beat all the latter in a mortar, then mix with spagehtti.
If you can, roast the almonds.
If you leave out the zucchini, this can be made as a delicious pesto.

Savoury Peach Salad
A peach is a peach is a peach. If it is good and soft and juicy, it just can't be beaten. For this recipe though, you could even go with the beatable kind.
You need:
peaches. stone out, then sliced.
radishes - red and white, radieschen. these pictures are deceiving.
sprinkle with some salt.
lime juice
soy sauce
olive oil
sambal oelek
ginger marmalade
Shake well, pour dressing over nicely arranged peaches and radishes (the latter should outnumber the former) and top with chives.

Disruptive tomato salad with canned peas and artichokes
I don't think I have ever had a tomato salad with yoghurt dressing. Have you?
Let's try this:
tomatoes
artichokes
peas
and thyme
a shallot for the dressing, have this sit in lemon juice, sugar and salt for a bit, before you add some olive oil, mustard and, finally, the yoghurt.

Mock ham and melon salad
honey dew/rock melon
smoked tofu
sundried tomatoes
coriander leaves
soy sauce
lemon juice
peanut oil
roasted sesame oil
I recently saw something in the forbidden section of my way-too-fancy supermarket that I am dying to try: smoked salt, or, most probably "smoked fleur du sel" that is, at least I hope so to justify the price. In case you happen to have, or happen to recently have been given for your 39th birthday, some smoked salt, please use it in this recipe and tell me what it's like.

Strawberries and Asparagus ...
... sold from giant strawberry market stalls, and you know it must be May.
Usually twins separated at birth, here's a strong plea that they CAN and MUST stay together!
rocket
white asparagus
strawberries, slices and sprinkled with sea salt and pepper
dress with lemon juice, olive oil and honey
not too little salt to balance out strawberries
some pine nuts for topping
